Do you remember the summer of 2018? England on its way to the World Cup fin and of the hottest summers the UK had for the past 60 years. It was also the 6th anniversary of The Hippodrome Casino, and no expense was spared to celebrate all of that.
For this marketing campaign, we wanted to create something fresh. Usually, Casino aesthetics are always moody, dark, mysterious and classy. So what could be more refreshing than tropical vibes, flamingos, plants everywhere and bright flowers?
I hade the pleasure to lead the art direction, execute all the designs and illustrate every asset. The technique’s a mix of vector illustration, watercolour textures and photoshop post-editing.
We surpassed every expectation, the marketing campaign had many good reviews from the regulars and we increased the traffic to the roof terrace, specially decorated for the occasion. A fresh brand new breeze to cool down on of the hottest summers in London.
